The Malayalam film Drishyam which was released in 2013, was one of the best movies in the Malayalam industry. Owing to its success and engaging plotline, the film was revamped in different Indian dialects, including Hindi. While the Malayalam film featured Mohanlal leading the pack, Ajay Devgn repeated his part in the Hindi form. The continuation of the film was released recently in February on Amazon Prime Video. Before long the continuation was released, the redo of the film in various dialects was reported.
According to the reports, Ajay Devgn will begin going for Drishyam 2 after completing his present activities, including Mayday, Maidaan, Thank God, and his Disney+Hotstar web series Rudra. Devgn has given his dates from late December for Drishyam 2. He will be returning as Vijay Salgaonkar alongside actors Ishita Dutta, Tabu, and Shriya Saran. In the last part of the film, it is seen that the family goes under doubt when the child of the Inspector General Police gets killed. Hence, the spin-off will be taking the story forward.
Reports add that producer Abhishek Pathak will be coordinating the continuation. The first part was coordinated by Nishikant Kamat, who spent away last year.
Additionally, Ajay is occupied with the shoot of his computerized debut Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. He will then, at that point, head to Moscow one month from now to shoot some significant scenes for his executive in MayDay. Post that; he will go for Maidaan for a month. The actor will go for Drishyam and Thank God at the same time.
