After Dear Zindagi, Alia Bhatt again reunites with Shahrukh Khan on an incredible mother-daughter story, Darlings, this time, and a producer's incapacity. Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt collaborated for Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi's primary time, which proved to realize success on both the critical and commercial front. And now, SRK is close to reuniting with Alia Bhatt on an unusual mother-daughter story, Darlings, this time, during a producer's capacity. As per the news, the entire film was planned by Red Chillies and was told to Alia sometime back. A source explored, "She admired it and directly came on board the movie."
Darlings mark Jasmeet K Reen's directorial debut, who has worked as an Associate Director and chief assistant director on multiple films and previously written films like Force 2, Fanney Khan, and Pati Patni Aur Woh. The movie takes on Alia's impressive set, with actors like Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew on board. it's said to be an important story about an appealing mother-daughter duo, played by Alia and Shefali, who are cruising through crazy circumstances in life. "It's set in the backdrop of a middle-class family and pursues the lives of two women, as they find strength and love in exceptional circumstances," the source added.
According to the source, an official announcement of the film is predicted within the week, and Darlings will continue the floors as early because the primary quarter of 2021. "The film is organizing up for a release this year itself. The pre-production work goes full swing, and thus the team is ready to take it on floors very soon in Mumbai. It's arranged in Mumbai against the backdrop of a middle-class family and traces the lives of two women, as they find courage and love in exceptional circumstances", added the source.
Apart from Darlings, SRK's production team functions on multiple films on the assembly front, amorously Hostel featuring Bobby Deol, Vikrant Massey, and Sanya Malhotra, travelling on floors, and Abhishek Bachchan with Bob Biswas in the post-production frame. The film is preparing up for a Summer 2021 occasion. Multiple other subjects are on the verge of being greenlit, including SRK's next acting stint, which is predicted to travel on the floors after the YRF production, Pathan.
Shah Rukh Khan is busy in Pathan's shooting, highlighting him as an agent with Deepika Padukone, too, joining him on the mission. John Abraham, on the other hand, plays the antagonist of Pathan. The follow-up to Pathan for the superstar is predicted to be Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming social comedy.
