Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein Remake: Jackky Bhagnani Signs Ravi Udyawar To Direct The Film

Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein movie was released in 2001 that starred R Madhavan and Dia Mirza. The movie was super hit and people loved the on-screen chemistry of the duo. The songs of the movies still loved. After so many years Jacky Bhagnani decided to make the remake of the iconic movie. 

Jackky has now successfully stepped into the movie production venture with his dad Vashu Bhagnani. Jaccky has approached Ravi Udyawar to direct the movie.

“Yes, Jackky is looking at remaking the film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and has signed on Ravi Udyawar to direct the venture. This comes as no surprise since the film itself still remains in the memory of Bollywood buffs, and Ravi has proved his capabilities with the delicate topic in Mom”, says an industry insider. Further talking about the RHTDM remake, the source continues, “Besides Ravi helming the project, two members of the original cast viz. Dia Mirza and Madhavan have been retained to feature in cameos. However, whether they will play their respective roles from the original film is still unknown.”

As far as the cast of the movie is concerned the makers are looking for fresh faces to play the role of Madhavan and Dia. There are rumours that Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon will be cast for the role. However, no confirmation has been given on this.
